The Hope 5K
Join us on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 from 9:30am - 1:00pm for The Hope 5K - A walk or run along side the scenic Ohio River in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The goal of this event is to raise funds to support under resourced people in western Hamilton County and parts of Dearborn County, Indiana.

Runners, joggers, and walkers can have fun and raise funds to help people in hopeless situations.
The Hope 5K starts at the Lawrenceburg Clock Tower on Walnut Street. It follows the beautiful Dearborn Trail's paved path along the Ohio River. We’ll travel 1.55 miles down and back to support the Life Center and its mission.
About the Hope 5K
This is a family friendly event.
The path is stroller and wheelchair friendly.
The 5K is roughly 3.1 miles, most walkers can achieve this in an hour.
The event will be rain or shine.
Participate in person or virtually.
You can park in the IVY Tech garage on site.
This is going to be fun
All in person registrations get a t-shirt, a medal, racing bib, adult registrations get a chip-timer to track progress. All of these can be picked up at the clock tower on the day of the event.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be awarded by age group.
Hope 5K Fundraising
A vital aspect of the Hope 5K is an opportunity for each participant to leverage their relationships and social networks to secure sponsorships for their walk/run. So all of our friends and family can be part of the day. Each participate is challenged to work on your own to reach personal fundraising / sponsoring goals from friends and family of $100.

5K Timeline for Day of the Event
9:00 am -Pick up t-shirt, timer, and bib
10:00 am - Adult race
11:30 am - An after-party begins at 11:30 am featuring great food, fun, a kids race, and a concert in Lawrenceburg’s Civic Park.
