Keeping Our Heroes Moving: A New Partnership with AAA

At the Life Center, growth is never just about learning new habits — it’s about removing the real-life barriers that keep people stuck.

One of the most common obstacles our Heroes face isn’t a lack of motivation. It isn’t willingness. It’s transportation.

Many of our Heroes are working hard to rebuild stability: getting to a job consistently, picking up children from school, keeping medical appointments, and showing up week after week for their Hero on a Mission sessions. Yet one dead battery, one flat tire, or one unexpected repair bill can unravel weeks of progress overnight. For families already living on tight margins, a car problem is rarely a minor one. It can mean missed work, lost wages, and discouragement that feels bigger than the situation itself.

That is why we are deeply grateful to announce a new partnership with AAA. AAA has graciously committed to providing a free one-year membership to every graduate of Hero on a Mission.

This is more than a benefit. It is stability.

Through this membership, our Heroes will now have 24/7 roadside assistancetowing, jump-starts, lockout help, fuel delivery, and tire service. Instead of panic on the side of the road, there is a number to call and someone on the way. Instead of choosing between paying rent and fixing a battery, there is help already in place.

AAA also offers discounts on auto repairs and batteries, as well as special member pricing on car rentals. In practical terms, this helps our Heroes stay employed, keep their children in school, and maintain the routines that create long-term change. Reliable transportation keeps families connected to work, church, counseling, and community. It keeps progress from stalling.

But the support doesn’t stop with cars. Membership also gives access to thousands of discounts on dining, retail, entertainment, and travel — small savings that stretch limited budgets further. Heroes will also have travel planning services, maps, and even passport photo services available, expanding opportunities many never imagined possible.

Additional protections, including identity theft monitoring and access to insurance and financial services, add another layer of security for families as they learn to build healthy financial lives.

In Hero on a Mission, we often say that growth happens when encouragement and practical help meet. This partnership is a beautiful example of exactly that.

Because sometimes transformation looks like courage. Sometimes it looks like perseverance. And sometimes it looks like a reliable ride to work tomorrow morning.

Thanks to AAA, our Heroes will have a little more breathing room — and a much clearer road ahead.
